The nearest railway station is in Hatia and Ranchi is well-connected to major Indian cities through the railways. Has constructed impressive roadways that easily connect Deogarh to the rest of Jharkhand, and hence the rest of the country. Giridih Before 1972. Giridih used to be a part of Hazaribagh. However, it now exists as a separate city and is most well-known for the mines that are spread throughout the city. These mines are covered in lush green vegetation making Giridih an awesome place to visit and have a change of air. Giridih has many hills and mountains in and around the city and is often referred to as the Land of Hills this place also holds a very special significance among Jain pilgrims and thus attracts thousands of such pilgrims everywhere. Another common name for Giridih is the Land of Hain Pilgrims because of the high intensity of such pilgrims available here. This is a very peaceful place with the most photogenic hills and forests surrounding you. If you are planning on a trip to Giridih from within Jharkhand or from outside the state, using the railways is the best option for you. Giridih is connected to Madhupur through a single line of broad gauge and it takes about an hour to commence between the two stops. G.T. Road or the NH 19 passes right through Giridih making it easily accessible through roadways too. Government buses leave Giridih and connect the major cities in Jharkhand. You can also avail private and shared cars to reach Giridih from major stops in Jharkhand and also from Bengal, Orissa, and Bihar. Parashnath Hills is a lovely place to visit and so is the Usri Fall. The latter is going to give you some memorable times in Giridih. This also shows that Dhanbad is very well-connected by roadways from all sides within as well as outside the state. Nearly all the trains that have to pass through this route have a halt in Dhanbad making it well connected through railways too! Bokaro Bokaro, the Steel City of India, is known for the many industries that deal in coal and steel in India. It shows a vibrant metropolitan lifestyle and is quite an advanced city. Do not think that the only thing that you can get at Bokaro and huge industries since this place is surrounded by many natural sites. You may also travel by air but in that case, you have to get down at Ranchi airport which is 122 km away from Bokaro. The railway station at Bokaro Steel City is just 12 km away from the main city center allowing you easy access into the city. Bokaro Steel City is marvelous and thus a must-visit site if you are traveling through Bokaro. The Jawaharlal Nehru Biological Park is very interestingly made and thus should be visited to have some fun time.
