Argentina, this is a South American country which is located mostly in the southern part of the continent. The country shares it borders with Chile in the west, Bolivia and Paraguay in the north, by Brazil in northeast, by Uruguay and South Atlantic Ocean in east, and by the Drake Passage in the south. The military government became brutal and used state terrorism that lasted until the election of a President named Raúl Alfonsín in 1983. It is also a founding member of the World Trade Organisation, World Bank, Mercosur, United Nations, Organisation of Ibero-American States, Community of Latin American and Caribbean States and Union of South American Nations.
